SME Business Development Manager

As a key member of our team, the SME Business Development Manager plays a crucial role in building and maintaining strong relationships with loan brokers, business agents, and referral partners. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in commercial banking, SME lending, or managing SME client relationships.

  1. Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders to drive quality business referrals;
  2. Identify and capitalize on new lending opportunities through strategic partnerships and broker networks;
  3. Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue targets and grow market share;
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of client engagements;
  5. Manage a portfolio of SME clients, tracking their payments and repayment behavior;
  6. Work closely with the Collections Manager to follow up on overdue payments and assist with recovery efforts;
  7. Provide exceptional customer service, guiding clients throughout the loan process from inquiry to approval, disbursement, and after-service.
