Job Title: Software Application Specialist

Job Description:

  • Ensure the smooth operation of software applications by providing timely support and troubleshooting for issues, including bug fixing and root cause analysis.
  • Implement application enhancements in collaboration with stakeholders as needed.
  • Engage with end-users, customer IT teams, and support engineers from other vendors to understand production issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Resolve incidents and restore services within contractual Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements.
  • Work closely with the support team and Service Delivery Manager to resolve production issues.
  • Document and track incidents, providing regular progress updates.
  • Coordinate regular system maintenance and upgrade activities, including monthly maintenance, patching, hotfix testing, and deployments.
  • Perform impact analysis and post-installation verification tests on monthly OS patches/updates and software patches deployments.
  • Update project documentation according to company quality management processes.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Experience with system maintenance and upgrade activities.
