The role of Software Application Support Specialist is pivotal in ensuring seamless software application performance.
Main Responsibilities- Application Support: Offer prompt and efficient support to users, resolve issues related to software applications, and provide solutions.
- Enhancement Implementation: Participate in the implementation of application enhancements as required.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage with end-users, customer's IT team, and support engineers from other application vendors to understand production issues and advise on resolutions.
- Incident Resolution: Resolve incidents and recover services within contractual Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Tech Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, PHP, Python, C#.Net, SQL/PLSQL, APIs (RESTful and SOAP), and shell scripting.
- Database Management Expertise: Strong skills in database management, including proficiency in SQL Server, MySQL, and Microsoft Access.
- Operating System Knowledge: Familiarity with operational systems, including LINUX and Windows Server.
- Excellent Communication Abilities: Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills, along with strong troubleshooting capabilities.
