Software Application Security Specialist

We are looking for a highly skilled Software Application Security Specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of software application security principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and analytical skills.

As a Software Application Security Specialist, you will work closely with our development team to identify and mitigate potential security risks in our software applications.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting thorough risk assessments of software applications to identify potential vulnerabilities
  • Developing and implementing effective mitigation strategies to address identified vulnerabilities
  • Collaborating with the development team to ensure that security is integrated into all stages of the software development life cycle

What You'll Do:

  • Generate interest and impactful client meetings, that yield sales opportunity pipeline
  • Learn target market, business drivers, and strategies to present Black Duck Soft services
  • Follow up and qualify respondents from a variety of marketing programs
  • Drive high volume and quality outreach activity, including calls, emails, and LinkedIn activity
  • Research organizations to identify influencers, decision makers, and business goals to position Black Duck Software services
  • Nurture and manage lead contacts until they are qualified as sales-ready, providing your sales partners with prospect background, company need, and intrigue
