Desktop Support Engineer

RAPSYS TECHNOLOGIES PTE. LTD. is a leading technology firm seeking a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to join our team.
The estimated salary for this position is SGD $50,000 - $70,000 per annum.
Job DescriptionWe are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Desktop Support Engineer to provide daily on-site management and support services for end-users' End User Computing Devices (EUC) in our customer's environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of EUC devices, including desktops, notebooks, mobile devices, video conferencing devices, IP telephones, printers, and other peripherals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Image build management;
- Administration and configuration;
- End-user account management;
- End-user device hardening and lockdown;
- Troubleshooting and problem resolution;
- End-user briefings & awareness service;
Additionally, the ideal candidate should have strong technical skills in supporting existing and new computing devices, possess knowledge in IT networking and LAN, and have at least one of the following certifications: Microsoft Certified Solution Associate (MCSA), Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS), or CompTIA A+ 220-801/ 220-802.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in desktop support, ICT end user computing, or service desk agent;
- Ability to perform daily desktop support operations with minimal supervision;
- Possess technical skills in supporting existing and new computing devices;
- Possess knowledge in IT networking and LAN to troubleshoot computer problems;
- At least one (1) of the following certifications: MCSA, MCTS, or CompTIA A+ 220-801/ 220-802.
