Job Title: Senior Social Worker or Senior Counsellor

As a skilled and experienced professional, you will play a vital role in providing integrated services to clients experiencing family violence. This includes casework management, counseling, intake and risk assessment, program planning and evaluation, group work, community outreach and development, networking and capacity building initiatives, as well as research to enhance domain-specific knowledge in the local context.

  • Casework Management: Provide comprehensive support to clients with medium to high risk family violence concerns through casework management and counseling services.
  • Intake and Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough intake and risk assessments of cases to ensure accurate identification of client needs and development of effective intervention plans.
  • Program Planning and Evaluation: Plan, implement, and evaluate programs to meet clients' needs, including individual and group interventions.
  • Group Work: Facilitate support and psychoeducation groups for clients and community members to promote positive change and social cohesion.
  • Community Outreach and Development: Develop and implement community outreach and development strategies to combat family violence and promote community engagement.
  • Networking and Capacity Building Initiatives: Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders to enhance stakeholder capability in addressing family violence, including networking and capacity building initiatives.

Key Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate degree in Social Work or Counseling;
  • At least 6 years of relevant working experience (prior experience in family violence work preferred);
  • Experience in supervision;
  • Strong command of English language and writing skills;
  • Strong interpersonal skills;
  • Good team player.
