We are seeking a skilled IT Infrastructure Support Specialist to join our team.


As an IT Infrastructure Support Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and uptime of our servers, networks, and IT systems. You will proactively monitor and maintain our IT infrastructure to identify potential issues before they become major problems.


  • Respond to and resolve IT-related incidents and service requests in a timely manner, utilizing excellent communication and interpersonal skills to ensure seamless collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Perform regular system backups, software updates, and security patches to safeguard our data and systems.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to design, implement, and optimize IT infrastructure solutions that meet the needs of our organization.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users, ensuring they can effectively utilize our IT systems.
  • Contribute to the development and documentation of IT policies, procedures, and best practices that promote innovation and excellence.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • At least one year of experience in an IT support or infrastructure position, preferably within the IT & Communications industry.
  • Strong technical expertise in managing and troubleshooting Windows servers, networking, and security technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware or Hyper-V.
  • Proficiency in monitoring tools, backup and recovery solutions, and change management processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and provide creative solutions.

Certifications in IT (e.g., MCSA, CCNA) are highly desirable.
