The role of a senior facilities technician in a manufacturing environment is multifaceted and demanding.
The individual will be responsible for conducting routine inspections of facility and security systems, as well as completing the required checklists.
Additionally, they will generate and submit reports for scheduled equipment verification and calibration.
This includes tracking the expiration dates of licenses and cleanroom certifications, and coordinating timely renewals.
The technician will also interpret meter readings to derive basic operational insights, perform regular patrols of facility and security zones, documenting any defects or irregularities.
They will execute preventive maintenance tasks on facility and security equipment according to schedule, troubleshoot issues in facility systems, and carry out necessary repairs.
Furthermore, they will assist in facility enhancement and improvement projects, and participate actively in the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) program.
Requirements:- A minimum of NITEC/Higher NITEC in Facility Management or GCE 'O' Level.
- At least 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing facility is an added advantage.
