Business Development Professional

We are seeking a skilled Business Development Professional to join our team. This role will involve coordinating day-to-day activities with supervision, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

This position requires excellent writing skills in both Chinese (Mandarin) and English, as well as the ability to draft and synthesize content into compelling messages.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft and coordinate pitches, RFP responses and presentations
  • Manage pitch content library and business development materials
  • Contribute to global pitch proposals
  • Coordinate Chinese translation of business development collateral, seminar presentations, pitches and proposals
  • Maintain and identify deal descriptions using Foundation, the firm's experience management system, for the Asia offices
  • Develop and maintain internal and external mailing lists, contact lists, guest lists and client profiles using InterAction, the firm's CRM platform, for relevant practice and the Asia offices
  • Draft internal and external communications and business development collateral
  • Contributes to the development, prioritization and implementation of business development plans for the Asia offices
  • Works collaboratively with industry groups to support, drive and implement industry-related activities for the Asia offices
  • Draft and coordinates directory submissions
  • Perform other duties as assigned including but not limited to budget, measuring ROI on expenses, invoice tracking and maintenance
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • This job has no supervisory responsibilities
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university, or
  • Minimum of two to three years of experience including creating and preparing business development collateral, pitch proposals, presentations and RFP responses and must possess excellent writing skills
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
Other Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and balance competing demands and meet deadlines in a fast-paced professional environment
  • Strong organizational, team building and communication skills are essential
  • Excellent writing and proofreading skills are required in both Chinese (Mandarin) and English, including the ability to write business correspondence
  • Must be proficient in the use of PowerPoint, Word, Excel and database applications
  • Law firm or professional services firm experience is required
