Workforce Planning Strategist

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Human Resource Manager to join our team at SMRT Corporation Ltd as a Workforce Planning Strategist. This is a challenging role that requires an individual with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
About the RoleThe Workforce Planning Strategist will be responsible for assisting the Deputy Director, Strategic Human Resource & Partnerships in developing and executing human resource strategies and initiatives that align with our organisational strategy and goals.
This includes ensuring there is sufficient and sustainable capability and capacity in Trains to meet our future objectives and long-term operational and financial goals.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, and preferably have experience in a leadership capacity.
Main Responsibilities- Establish, implement, and maintain a continuous workforce planning process
- Develop and manage our short- and medium-term workforce plan aligned with organisational objectives
- Align our needs with our workforce to meet long-term operational and financial goals
- Identify internal and external drivers affecting workforce composition
- Determine current and forecast future workforce gaps and develop strategies to close them
- Maintain and interpret our workforce scorecard in a timely and accurate manner
- Track, develop, and validate business metrics in line with our objectives
- Facilitate change management initiatives related to workforce planning, ensuring smooth transitions, and minimizing disruption to business operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders to understand their human resource needs and provide guidance and support
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience in a leadership capacity, preferably in human resources
- Familiarity of human resource best practices, employment laws, and regulations
- Ability to think strategically and apply critical thinking to human resource challenges and opportunities
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data and metrics to drive insights and inform decision-making
- Positive mindset, adaptable to change in a highly regulated operating environment
- Strong organisational and project management experience; with the ability to manage multiple priorities, attention to details
- Ability to work independently and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with knowledge in areas such as human resources, economics, finance, statistics, organisation design, organisation development, and organisational performance management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organisation
- Proficient in HR information systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, PowerBI and other software tools supporting data analysis, visualisation, and communication
We offer a competitive salary range of SGD 80,000 - SGD 120,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as comprehensive benefits and career growth opportunities.
