Job Title: Senior Banking Operations Manager

As a key member of the Consumer Banking team, you will oversee the overall operations of our banking branch. This includes business management, risk control, transaction processing, and personnel administration.

  • Develop and implement departmental objectives aligned with our bank's strategic goals, optimizing workflows and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain effective communication with business units, providing comprehensive support for smooth operations execution.
  • Advise business lines on critical organizational and human resources issues impacting management efficiency.
  • Strive to achieve wealth management sales targets assigned by head office while fostering a service-oriented customer experience.
  • Ensure all sales activities adhere to internal branch policies and external regulatory requirements.
  • Strengthen staff management and training programs to continuously improve professional competencies and sales capabilities of wealth management advisors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily branch operations, including cash handling, account opening, and loan applications.
  • Manage new residential mortgage loan applications and provide ongoing service and relationship management for existing mortgage clients.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business partners, customers, and employees.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or above from a recognized university.
  • Professional Qualifications/Certificates: Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations, such as those related to securities, financial advisory services, and collective investment schemes.
  • Minimum 8 years of related experience in consumer banking and management roles.

Competencies:

  • Strong analytical skills and excellent communication and coordination abilities.
  • Proven team management capabilities and solid risk control awareness.
  • Expertise in related business areas, including wealth management and customer service.

Language Proficiency:

  • Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese to communicate with Chinese-speaking customers.
