About the Role:
The Pharmacy Technician plays a vital part in ensuring smooth pharmacy operations. Key duties include processing medication orders, picking and packing medicines, performing medication reconciliation steps, billing functions, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order Fulfillment: Processing medication orders accurately and efficiently
- Inventory Management: Reviewing and updating inventory levels based on consumption on a regular basis, overseeing storage conditions, expiry checks, audits, and reporting defects of drug products
- Billing and Reconciliation: Performing billing functions and reconciling medication orders
Additional Responsibilities:
In addition to these core responsibilities, the Pharmacy Technician is expected to provide quality customer service by offering professional and courteous support to patients and customers.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will require a minimum diploma in Pharmaceutical Science and 1-2 years of experience as a pharmacy technician.
