A pharmacy assistant plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of a healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in the medical industry and possess excellent communication skills.

The responsibilities of a pharmacy assistant include:

  • Providing exceptional customer service by building guest confidence and offering a positive and helpful experience to each individual.
  • Managing the cash register, processing refill and new prescription orders via the counter and phone, and advising patients on wait times and insurance coverage issues.
  • Responding to general customer inquiries regarding pharmacy or store information, both at the register and via the phone.
  • Ensuring that each guest receives appropriate counseling from the Pharmacist and all necessary information concerning their prescriptions.
  • Supporting the pharmacy team by assisting with inventory management, restocking, ordering supplies, and generating prescription labels.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace for the pharmacy team.

Requirements:

  • Minimum GCE 'A' Levels / Diploma and above.
  • Fundamental knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
