About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Pharmacy Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to our pharmacy department.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmaceutical operations, with experience working in a fast-paced environment. You should be proficient in Microsoft Office and possess strong organizational and time management skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing Medication: Assist in preparing medication according to prescription or pharmacy requisition forms through pick and pack.
  • Receiving and Checking Stocks: Receive, unpack, and check stocks against documents to ensure accuracy.
  • Arranging Stocks: Arrange stocks on shelves in First-Expiry First-Out (FEFO) order.
  • Maintaining Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness of pharmacy work areas and prepare for daily operations.
  • Providing Quality Customer Service: Provide quality customer service through answering telephone enquiries.
  • Liaising with Patients: Call and liaise with patients for home delivery services with valid prescriptions.
  • Organizing Prescriptions: Arrange outstanding prescriptions by name and/or date.
  • Performing Other Duties: Perform other duties as directed by supervisors.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
  • Multitasking and Prioritization: Ability to multitask efficiently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Strong Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
