Senior Product Manager, Cash Management
United Overseas Bank is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the development and management of cash management products and solutions for our Transaction Banking business in Asia Pacific.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying product development opportunities and requirements based on customer needs, competitor benchmarking, and market research. They will work closely with various key partners in the bank to build business cases and prepare business requirements, review functional specifications, perform user acceptance testing, and address day-to-day business process matters and issues.
The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in Cash Management business across Asia Pacific, with a strong understanding of network expansion, FI products, and payables & receivables products. They will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization both internally and externally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify product development opportunities and requirements based on customer needs, competitor benchmarking, and market research.
- Develop new products and improve existing solutions within agreed deadlines.
- Work closely with key partners in the bank to build business cases and prepare business requirements, review functional specifications, perform user acceptance testing, and address day-to-day business process matters and issues.
- Ensure clear understanding of our product capabilities across various customer touch-points through proactive communications program, internal training workshops, etc.
- Provide post-sales support in terms of product documentation, implementation of solutions, and necessary training for stakeholders to ensure continued usage of our products and services.
Requirements:
- At least 8 years of experience in Cash Management business across Asia Pacific, especially with respect to network expansion, FI products, and payables & receivables products.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization both internally and externally.
- A highly-motivated self-starter with a strong desire to learn.
- Ability to keep abreast of changes in the markets, customer requirements, competitors' responses, and the Bank's abilities and to use this information to identify new business.
