Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a seasoned professional to drive the growth of electronic execution products and client expansion in line with our business goals and external market structure.

  • The ideal candidate will refine and implement sales and marketing strategies for electronic execution across G10 and Emerging Markets (EM) Rates in the Asia Pacific region.
  • This role requires strategic thinking to grow Citi's market share and trading volumes within Rates electronic execution.
  • Daily collaboration with voice sales teams is crucial to identify and address gaps, proactively engaging low-touch clients to increase inquiry share.
  • Close working relationships with trading desks are essential to monitor and improve hit rates on electronic trades.
  • Ongoing efforts to streamline e-Distribution processes, optimize platform pricing mechanisms, and content delivery are also required.
  • Improving operational processes and implementing best practices within the workflow are key objectives of this role.
  • Daily tasks including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to access setup and operational challenges arising from electronic transactions must be performed efficiently.
  • A strong partnership with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, and Finance is necessary to ensure robust governance and control infrastructure.
Requirements

To succeed in this position, the candidate must have:

  • A minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in electronic trading or financial markets, with a focus on electronic execution.
  • Proven experience in a client-facing role, successfully engaging with the buy-side community.
  • Strong existing relationships with key clients and electronic trading platforms.
  • A solid understanding of the competitive landscape in electronic rates trading.
  • Broad knowledge of market structure, including regulatory requirements.
  • Possess strong technical skills, with an understanding of downstream processes and automation within Rates eCommerce.
