The Pre-Sales Technical Consultant plays a pivotal role in providing strategic technical guidance to prospects and clients. This individual must possess a deep understanding of technical developments and products to effectively solve customers' business problems in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients and business stakeholders to understand their needs and pain points, and design solution architectures that meet their requirements.
  • Conduct consulting, technical, and IT/Digital architecture analysis/assessment, effort estimation, solutioning, and proposal review; and present the proposed solutions to clients.
  • Ensure compliance in proposed solutions (architectural design, security, managed services, etc) for clients in various industry sectors (public, finance, healthcare, automotive, manufacturing, telco, etc).
  • Develop a strong understanding of the company's services and solution offerings to effectively consult with businesses.
  • Tailor IT/Digital solutions and services to suit clients' needs.
  • Stay up-to-date on market trends and knowledge to direct and initiate innovative technology/solution/services to the company's HODs.
  • Establish expertise in technologies (Cloud, Microservice, Infrastructure-as-code, etc), best practices, and compliances in IT/Digital solutions, services, and developments for different industry sectors.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's Degree or equivalent professional experience in Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a strong command of English.
  • Good business acumen and ability to understand clients' needs.
  • Experience in IT service delivery and software engineering, including design principles, platform analysis/evaluation, and architecting in various technologies.
  • Experience in enterprise products (e.g. Adobe, Microsoft, Salesforce) is preferred.
  • Experience in bidding and working with Singapore Government projects is preferred.
