Job Title: Ship Repair Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ship Repair Supervisor to lead our repair team in fulfilling ship repair jobs both afloat and at the shipyard.

About the Role:
  • This is a key position that requires strong leadership skills, technical knowledge, and attention to detail. As a Ship Repair Supervisor, you will oversee the maintenance, service, and repair of all mechanical equipment on board ships, including diesel engines, pumps, gearboxes, couplings, alternators, turbochargers, etc.
  • You will also be responsible for troubleshooting all mechanical equipment on board vessels, planning and executing repairs in a cost-effective manner, ensuring adequate maintenance of tools and equipment, and attending to vessels in dry dock as assigned.
Requirements:
  • A diploma or certificate in marine engineering or equivalent is required, along with at least 3 years of relevant working experience.
  • Candidates must be able to read drawings and write service reports using PC or tablet software, and be familiar with safety regulations and permit-to-work systems.
  • You will also need to be able to work on site, on ships, and in workshops, making this a challenging yet rewarding role for the right candidate.
