About the Role

As a Ship Repair Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing ship repair and maintenance projects, ensuring seamless execution and adhering to high standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise ship repair and maintenance projects (afloat and shipyard).
  • Conduct inspections, troubleshooting, and diagnostics for marine systems (engines, pumps, motors, gearboxes).
  • Liaise with ship owners, class surveyors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Prepare repair specifications, schedules, and technical reports.
  • Monitor project costs, timelines, and quality.
  • Lead and guide technicians/workers to deliver efficient and safe services.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Marine or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 3-5 years' relevant experience in ship repair/shipyard/marine engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of marine systems and ship repair practices.
  • Leadership skills with ability to meet deadlines.
