Assistant Vice President

This is a senior management role within the Transfer Agency operations, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the team, including client and vendor servicing, BAU management, and oversight responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the funds industry, with a strong knowledge of Transfer Agency services and operations in Singapore.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the delivery of the team's tasks in a timely, accurate, and controlled environment, ensuring priority items are identified and dealt with in a prompt manner.
- Oversee the volume, quality, integrity, timeliness, and delivery of complex deliverables.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures, and support a range of internal and external clients, ensuring that essential procedures are followed and contributing to defining workflow standards.
- Oversee performance of operational activities, define, develop, implement, and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, client service, control, and cost reduction, and implement improvements.
- Conduct discovery and due diligence activities with clients to solve complex client queries.
- Evaluate staff performance and make recommendations for training/development, pay increases, hiring, terminations, and other personnel actions.
- At least 8 years of working experience, preferably within Transfer Agency operations or in a Transfer Agency support role.
- Strong knowledge of Transfer Agency services and operations in Singapore, and an extensive industry experience in fund administration.
- Strong interpersonal skills, communication skills, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently on projects or subsets of projects and effectively represent the TA function operationally.
- Strong regulatory and compliance background, and a good understanding of local regulatory obligations and requirements.
