Job Title: Medical Laboratory Team Manager

The role of a Medical Laboratory Team Manager is crucial in overseeing the daily activities of a medical laboratory team. This position requires exceptional leadership and management skills to prioritize tasks effectively and ensure seamless testing and reporting procedures.

Key responsibilities include managing staff, providing training and competency assessments, addressing disciplinary matters, maintaining and troubleshooting laboratory equipment, and implementing corrective actions.

Additionally, this individual will be responsible for developing and reviewing laboratory documentation, utilizing laboratory information systems, and overseeing personnel performing tests and reporting results.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science or related field
  • ASCPi certification preferred
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in working in a clinical laboratory
  • Experience in biochemistry and healthcare setting preferred
