Job Summary:
">We are seeking a talented and experienced Clinical Laboratory Manager to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory leadership team, you will be responsible for providing managerial leadership to the Core Laboratory team and promoting a positive environment.
">Responsibilities:
">Provide technical reviews of clinical chemistry and hematology tests; manage day-to-day delivery of testing services while implementing operational improvements to increase client satisfaction and quality performance.
">Effectively manage change, facilitate innovation, and foster teamwork to provide high-quality laboratory products.
">Resolve client inquiries and operational issues in a timely manner by consulting with medical directors, technical directors, QA, other laboratory managers, or corporate operations.
">Conduct departmental meetings, ensure appropriate communication, and participate in client visits, audits, and inquiries.
">Investigate deviations from established procedures to ensure effective corrective action and maintain personnel competency.
">Ensure an adequate level of trained personnel to meet testing and administrative requirements.
">Requirements:
">A Bachelor of Science degree in biology, chemistry, or another life science is required, along with minimum 6 years of laboratory experience and 4 years of supervisory or management experience in a clinical laboratory environment.
">Prior supervisory experience managing direct reports is preferred, as is knowledge of quality assurance practices and CAP, ISO15189 accreditation, and MOH HCSA regulations.
">Strong communication skills, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail are essential for this role.
