Job Title: Senior Kitchen Manager

We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to lead our kitchen operations. As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for supervising junior staff, ensuring food quality and consistency, and driving smooth service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Head Chef in menu execution and daily operations.
  • Supervise Junior Chefs and Helpers; ensure task allocation and training.
  • Maintain consistency in taste, portion, and presentation.
  • Manage stock levels, monitor storage, and reduce wastage.
  • Lead the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence.
  • Enforce hygiene, safety, and food handling standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

We are looking for an individual with strong leadership and supervisory skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure in a busy service environment. Knowledge of Indian cooking methods, including tandoor, curries, breads, and biryani, is essential. The ideal candidate will also have good knowledge of inventory and cost management, as well as strong interpersonal and coaching skills.

Benefits:

This is a full-time position that includes shifts on evenings, weekends, and public holidays. You will report directly to the Head Chef and supervise Junior Chefs and Helpers.
