Lead Strategic Growth in APAC

We're seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead our team's strategic growth initiatives in the APAC region. As a key member of our Global Client Group, you will be responsible for developing and executing business development strategies that drive revenue growth and expand our premium value proposition.

About the Role

  • You will develop data tools and insights to support client management and business development opportunities, working closely with our GCG Client Management Group.
  • You will lead strategic partnerships with merchants in close collaboration with our Marketing team, engaging existing and new partners to drive revenue growth through Amex Offers.
  • You will build a pipeline of opportunities and deliver compelling business insights proposals to drive business growth.
  • You will own end-to-end insights project planning, delivery, and measurement, transforming raw data into actionable commercial presentations for executives at merchant partners and internal stakeholders.
  • You will identify and create customized and automated data tools in close collaboration with our Global Merchant Analytics team.

Requirements

  • You have strong business development experience and/or partner management experience, with a track record of success in building new and nurturing existing relationships with internal and external clients.
  • You are a strategic thinker with a consultative sales approach.
  • You possess effective quantitative skills that enable analysis of data sets and generation of actionable recommendations with measurable value.
  • You have strong communication skills and executive presence, with the ability to probe/diagnose merchant needs and propose real-time customized solutions across all levels of the organization.
  • You can multitask and prioritize across a portfolio of clients and projects, with high attention to detail.
  • You can innovate and openly share insights and new ideas.
  • An advanced degree in statistics, mathematics, operations research, economics, engineering or equivalent is preferred.
