Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and implement balanced scorecards to evaluate the performance of owned agencies
  • Participate in monthly performance reviews and drive actions to improve performance
  • Support agencies across line functions and support functions on improvement initiatives
  • Drive the review of local charges and demurrage tariffs every six months
  • Support the transition of third-party agents to owned agencies through a robust plan
  • Support the expansion to new markets by identifying and appointing potential third-party agents
  • Work closely with the finance team to move owned agencies to a cost-plus model
  • Support agency heads in reviewing their organization, key roles, and overall competencies
  • Identify cross-functional requirements for vendor and partner outreach locally and work with agency heads to increase visibility
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Maritime Studies, or a related field
  • Preferably a permanent resident or local
  • Minimum five years of working experience from shipping agencies, on a regional or global role
  • Strong understanding of shipping operations, logistics, and supply chain management
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in financial analysis, business forecasting, and performance metrics
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
