Job Title: Application Specialist

This position is responsible for conducting product development work in various culinary applications on all IFF product lines. The successful candidate will provide technical services to ASEAN customers to support IFF business in the culinary and processed meat food industries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead beverage and dairy projects in the development of new solutions and application or modification of existing products, recipes and/or processes based on customer needs.
  • Provide timely technical support and knowledge to internal and external customers using textural, stabilizing ingredients including hydrocolloids, emulsifiers, enzyme, protein and other functional ingredients.
  • Run laboratory trials on formulations of various culinary & processed meat, as required.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Food Science, Food Technology or any other Food related or relevant discipline.
  • At least 8 years of relevant industrial experience in Beverage, Dairy, Food Ingredients industry or equivalent.
  • Strong experience in designing product formulation of Beverage or Dairy industry or equivalent.
  • Familiar with ASEAN taste preferences.
  • Good understanding of plant, milk-fermented drink, dry blended beverage, nutritional benefits in protein beverages and agglomerations would be highly regarded.
