Executive Chef and Restaurant Operations Manager

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced culinary leader to oversee the daily operations of our upscale dining establishment, specializing in European, Mediterranean, Spanish, and French cuisine.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage outlet performance, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Oversee financial results, focusing on maximizing profitability and minimizing waste.
  • Maintain high standards of quality control, including food safety, hygiene, and appearance.
  • Ensure effective inventory management and equipment maintenance.
  • Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for kitchen operations, risk management, workplace safety, and food safety management systems.
  • Train and mentor service staff and kitchen team members.
  • Prepare and present dishes according to company standards.
  • Monitor and control food and beverage usage to minimize waste and spoilage.
  • Collaborate with the marketing department to develop innovative marketing proposals.
  • Exhibit strong leadership skills and set a positive example for the team.
  • Supervise high-volume kitchen and service operations.
  • Take on ad hoc projects as assigned by senior management.
  • Engage in sales and marketing activities to attract new customers.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven track record of managing restaurants with a focus on fine dining cuisine.
  • Relevant degree or certification in hospitality management, culinary arts, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of wine and beverage service.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
