Clinical Data Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Data Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for interpreting genomic alterations in clinical contexts and reporting results accurately.

Main Responsibilities
  • Interpret genomic data in patient- and treatment-specific contexts following established procedures.
  • Evaluate scientific publications/clinical studies and integrate functional effects of genomic variants using standard terminologies and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the Medical Data Science team in database curation and maintenance.
  • Write, maintain, and update workflows and protocols for clinical reporting pipelines.
  • Participate in research-oriented projects for clinical validation of tests.
Requirements
  1. Familiarity with molecular techniques, genetics, and NGS applications is required.
  2. Good communication and presentation skills are necessary.
  3. The ability to work independently and in a team is essential.
  4. Exceptional attention to detail is required.
  5. Flexibility in working on weekends and public holidays is needed.
Desirable Skills
  1. Knowledge in genomic medicine and liquid biopsy is advantageous.
  2. Fluency in variant annotation and interpretation is beneficial.
  3. Ability to interpret genomic data in patient- and treatment-specific contexts is desirable.
