Warehouse Assistant Job Summary

This is a dynamic role that requires an individual with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. You will be responsible for the effective management of warehouse operations, ensuring seamless material flow and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and receive incoming materials, verifying quantity and quality against purchase orders.
  • Ensure proper labelling and storage of materials using bilingual tags.
  • Organize inventory according to FIFO and category-specific zoning.
  • Issue materials based on internal requisitions, updating inventory records accurately.
  • Monitor low stock levels, coordinating replenishment with the purchasing team.
  • Assist in handling and safekeeping of green-certified or fire-rated materials per BCA compliance.
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety, conducting daily checks for risks.
  • Support warehouse documentation, including delivery orders, material certificates, and stock records.
  • Collaborate with project teams to prepare materials in advance based on project schedules.
  • Participate in monthly stock counts and variance reporting.
Requirements:
  • N/O Level or equivalent; warehouse/logistics certification is a plus.
  • 1–2 years of experience in warehouse/storekeeping roles, preferably in construction or renovation.
  • Familiarity with inventory systems (e.g., Excel, ERP/SAP); basic CAD reading skills are a bonus.
  • Attention to detail and ability to identify material mismatches or quality issues.
  • Physical fitness and ability to handle manual material movement.
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin (to read labels, handle documentation, and liaise with Chinese-speaking teams).
  • Team player with good time management and organizational skills.
  • Will to work overtime or weekends when needed for project timelines.
