Scissor Lift Mechanic Job

We are seeking a skilled Scissor Lift Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in mechanical/electrical repair, strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, and valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Job Description

As a Scissor Lift Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining scissor lifts (electric and hydraulic models). You will perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and safety checks, troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues, maintain accurate service records and reports, and ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.

You will also communicate effectively with customers and team members, and occasionally support other equipment repairs such as boom lifts or forklifts, if qualified.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in mechanical/electrical repair (scissor lifts or similar equipment preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems and schematics
  • Familiarity with OEM diagnostic tools is a plus
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
