About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Aerial Technology Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic organization that values innovation and excellence.

Responsibilities:

As an Aerial Technology Specialist, you will be responsible for performing drone flight missions across various project types, ensuring operational safety and effectiveness. You will also plan flight routes, conduct equipment setup, and carry out on-site UAV operations. Additionally, you will conduct post-processing tasks such as video editing, orthophoto stitching, and the generation of complete deliverables (e.g., visual media, reports, datasets). Furthermore, you will maintain and troubleshoot UAV systems and ensure all equipment is in working condition. You will also assist with internal test flights, flight demonstrations, and data collection efforts. Finally, you will ensure all operations comply with company SOPs and aviation regulatory requirements.

Instructor Responsibilities:

As an instructor, you will prepare and deliver lessons tailored to different student levels and learning needs. You will provide instruction on drone components, flight controls, safety procedures, and local airspace regulations. You will also teach hands-on skills in drone handling, aerial maneuvers, and mission execution. In addition, you will help students build confidence in their flight and troubleshooting skills. You will intervene and take over control of the UAV during emergency or unsafe situations during training. Moreover, you will track, document, and report on student performance and progress. Finally, you will inform students when they are ready for theory and practical flight assessments.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in any discipline (or equivalent qualification).
  • Fast learner with strong hands-on and technical abilities.
  • Genuine interest in drones and a desire to grow within the UAV industry.
  • Positive attitude and ability to overcome challenges in the field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; team-oriented.
  • Willingness to travel and work in outdoor environments as needed.
