Scissor Lift Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Scissor Lift Technician to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with aerial work platforms and heavy machinery.

About the Job:

This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining scissor lifts (electric and hydraulic models). You will perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and safety checks. Troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues is also a key part of this job.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair scissor lifts, ensuring they are safe and in good working order.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues with scissor lifts.
  • Maintain accurate service records and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and team members.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in mechanical/electrical repair (scissor lifts or similar equipment preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems and schematics.
  • Familiarity with OEM diagnostic tools is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
