Roles and Responsibilities

As a Hotel Manager, you will oversee daily operations, providing strategic direction to drive guest satisfaction while ensuring profitability and operational excellence.

  • Champion business excellence by exceeding key performance indicators, collaborating with the sales and marketing teams to develop revenue-generating strategies, and staying ahead of market trends.
  • Lead with vision by inspiring a culture of excellence, monitoring and developing team member performance, particularly executive team members and department heads, and fostering a workplace where every team member thrives.
  • Elevate guest experience by managing operations with a keen eye for detail, monitoring guest feedback, and implementing improvements as necessary to exceed guest expectations.
  • Financial stewardship involves supporting and managing hotel finances, including revenue forecasting, expense control, and capital expenditures. Regular evaluations and analyses are conducted to meet and surpass financial objectives.
  • Quality assurance ensures the highest standards of hotel upkeep, safety, and guest satisfaction. Regular inspections are conducted to ensure compliance with quality and brand standard requirements, and improvement initiatives are implemented to enhance the overall guest experience and hotel reputation.
  • Owner relations involve building strong rapport with hotel owners through proactive and ongoing communication.

Required Skills:

  • Prior General Manager or Hotel Manager experience in a large, complex Tier 1 city hotel.
  • Proven experience in managing large hotel operations.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in F&B and events.
  • Success in driving commercial returns and revenue.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills with a customer-first mindset.
  • Solid grasp of financial management principles and experience in budgeting and forecasting.
  • Dynamic, innovative, and solutions-oriented, with the ability to be adaptable to meet the ever-changing demands of the industry.
