Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our team in Southeast Asia. As Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for spearheading long-term corporate strategies and aligning regional priorities with headquarters' objectives.

  • Drive cross-functional collaboration to implement actionable initiatives across Southeast Asia and Japan.
  • Deliver strategic insights to senior leadership on industry trends, competitive positioning and emerging R&D opportunities, influencing high-impact decisions.
  • Prepare and present regular reports to senior leadership with actionable recommendations for performance optimization and course corrections.
  • Analyze current and historical financial data and performance metrics to enable data-driven decision-making.
  • Facilitate seamless communication between Japanese headquarters and regional teams to ensure alignment and collaboration.
  • Maintain regular, transparent reporting and information sharing through horenso practices.
  • Monitor project progress, financial performance, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure that business objectives are met effectively.
  • Ensure clarity and consistency in project execution across all stakeholders.
Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Economics, or a related field is required. Relevant experience preferably in Southeast Asia and/or Japanese companies, in tech startups or innovative industries is preferred. Possess strong skills in market research, competitive analysis and data-driven decision-making. Proficiency in English and Japanese is also necessary.

  • Relevant Experience: Possess the relevant working experience preferably in Southeast Asia and/or Japanese companies, in tech startups or innovative industries.
