Computational Research Specialist

We are seeking an exceptional researcher to join our team and contribute to the development of advanced computational electromagnetics codes.

  • Job Description: Develop 3D integral equation/boundary element method-based codes for efficient field characterization, leveraging expertise in numerical methods and computational simulations.
  • Accelerate Code Performance: Accelerate these codes using matrix/tensor decomposition-based and fast Fourier transform-based schemes, resulting in significant speed improvements.
  • Platform Integration: Adopt these codes for multiple-CPU and/or GPU platforms via parallelization schemes, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
  • Validation and Verification: Validate these codes via canonical and real-world examples, verifying accuracy and reliability.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related field, demonstrating expertise in theoretical foundations and practical applications.
  • Research Experience: At least 3 years of research experience in the related area, showcasing a track record of innovation and impact.
  • Code Development: Experience in code development for integral equation/boundary element methods, including design, testing, and deployment.
  • Publishing Record: Good publication record, highlighting contributions to the field and recognition by peers.
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in C/C++ or Fortran programming languages, with expertise in software development and optimization.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills, enabling effective collaboration and knowledge sharing.
