Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Computational Electromagnetics Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our research group, you will be responsible for developing advanced computational electromagnetics codes for the characterization of fields scattered from artificial metasurfaces.

Your primary focus will be on designing and implementing efficient algorithms for rapid characterization of electromagnetic fields using computational methods. You will work closely with our team to develop and validate these codes, ensuring they meet the highest standards of accuracy and reliability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement 3D integral equation/boundary element method-based codes for computational electromagnetics.
  • Accelerate these codes using matrix/tensor decomposition-based and fast Fourier transform-based schemes.
  • Adapt these codes for multiple-CPU and/or GPU platforms via parallelization schemes.
  • Validate these codes using canonical and real-world examples.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of research experience in the field of computational electromagnetics.
  • Expertise in code development for integral equation/boundary element methods.
  • Good publication record in reputable journals.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ or Fortran programming languages.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
