Electromagnetism Researcher

We are seeking a researcher to develop ab initio theory and software for describing electron-photon and electron-matter interaction in the extreme ultraviolet regime.

This role involves computationally solving electrodynamics problems using Maxwell's equations and quantum electrodynamics/quantum field theory.

About the Role

The Senior Research Fellow will be responsible for leading papers and publishing in high-impact journals. They will also present at top-tier international conferences and assist the PI in writing grants and supervising graduate and undergraduate students.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a PhD degree in physics, mathematics, engineering or a related field. You must have a strong background in electrodynamics simulations techniques, C++, Python or similar languages, theoretical physics and mathematical physics.
