Senior Data Protection Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Protection Specialist to join our team.
This role will involve managing and implementing data protection strategies across the organization, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Data Protection Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive data protection strategies that align with organizational goals and objectives.
- Policy Implementation: Implement data protection policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate data protection risks through regular risk assessments and threat monitoring.
- Training and Awareness: Design and deliver training programs to educate employees on data protection best practices and policies.
- Compliance Monitoring: Monitor and report on data protection compliance, providing recommendations for improvement.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data protection strategies that meet business needs.
- Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Law or related field. Common law or EU-qualified lawyer with at least 3-5 years PQE preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in data protection, preferably in a similar role.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications: CIPP/E, CIPP/US, and CIPM certifications a plus.
