Job Title: Data Protection and Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Protection and Compliance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and tracking our organization's compliance with data protection policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the implementation of data protection policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with stakeholders to provide guidance on managing data breaches and incidents.
  • Conduct impact and risk assessments to identify potential data protection risks.
  • Respond to data requests and provide guidance on data management practices.
  • Conduct regular data protection audits and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data protection measures are integrated into business processes.
  • Facilitate training and provide guidance on data protection best practices.
  • Handle internal and external queries related to data protection.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in data protection legislation, policies, and industry best practices.
  • Support department operations and administrative matters.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare or a related field.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Comfortable in public speaking, collaborating, and engaging with various stakeholders.
