Singapore SAF WARRANT OFFICERS AND SPECIALISTS CLUB, THE Full time

The Data Protection Executive is responsible for establishing and sustaining the data protection system in the club.

Primary Responsibilities
- Conducts regular checking and accuracy of personal data, membership data, staff data and customers data in the club.
- Review audit logs of systems and biometric access.
- Ensure that the clubs' document comply to the retention periods set.
- Ensures organisation’s policy is in accordance with Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and codes of practice.
- Acts as the primary point of contact within the organisation for colleagues on issues related to data protection.
- Ensures organisation’s policy is in accordance with Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and codes of practice.
- Evaluates the existing data protection framework and identifies areas of non or partial compliance, and rectifies any issues.
- Devises training plans, provides data protection advice and supports colleagues.
- Promotes a culture of data protection compliance across all units of the organisation.

Knowledge and Skills
- Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working in data protection compliance or a related field
- Knowledge in Singapore data protection laws and practices including an in-depth understanding of the PDPA.
- Good knowledge of IT software such as Microsoft Office Suite, systems and network will be an advantage
- Oral and written fluency in English, and ability to speak other languages will be an advantage.
