Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our team. As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will be responsible for managing inventory levels, tracking stock movements, and ensuring accurate data entry.

You will work closely with other teams to identify areas for process improvements and implement changes to optimize inventory management. Your strong analytical skills and attention to detail will enable you to analyze reports and drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and log all deliveries from the loading bay, QC, receipt in, store, and distribute as required.
  • Maintain stock on shelves in a tidy manner, executing stock rotation in date order.
  • Record all stock movements and stock issues using inventory control systems.
  • Analyze reports to drive process improvements and ensure accurate data entry.
  • Operate inventory control systems and other systems to facilitate stock processing duties.
  • Conduct daily/weekly reporting and provide inventory dispositions.
  • Ensure pre-assembly areas are stocked and pick internal material requisitions for all areas.
  • Participate in stock cycle counts and set up and monitor call-off orders.
  • Prepare and log interlab shipments for other sites ordering stock as required and providing logistics details along with any related documentation.
  • Deputize for other stock controllers as and when required.
Requirements:
  • GCE 'O' Level or secondary education.
  • Relevant experience is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Good spoken and written English.
