Product Portfolio Stock Manager

Our company is seeking an Asset Manager to oversee regional inventory levels for a given product portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring optimum management of stock, meeting sales requirements and mitigating business risk.

This role interfaces extensively with suppliers to validate lead times and stock levels, fostering strong relationships in the process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain optimal inventory turns and minimize excess or subpar inventory.
  • Promptly place buys and conduct regular Purchase Order reviews.
  • Coordinate stocking packages with Product Marketing teams.
  • Profile inventory (common bond, customer-specific, non-conforming items).
  • Coordinate programs to decrease bad and excess inventory.
  • Resolve pricing discrepancies with marketing/suppliers.
  • Resolve receiving discrepancies with APDC/marketing teams.
  • Resolve rejected transfers with Corporate/UK offices.
  • Ensure proper management of RTV quality issues with suppliers.
  • Coordinate with Marketer and Senior Product Manager-Asset on stock rotation quantity and amount, arranging returns with APDC and RMA departments.
  • Promptly release purchase orders to suppliers.
  • Ensure relevant documents are in place prior to buy related to CUSPEC/NCNR parts.
  • Ensure all requirements are met/fulfilled according to Asset Buy Process SOP.
  • Meet quarterly inventory/PBO targets.
  • Provide guidance to MSR-Marketing Support Representatives.
  • Conduct weekly review with Senior Product Manager-Asset on Inventory/PBO and all Asset-related issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Degree qualification or equivalent required.
  • At least 2 years of experience in product marketing at equivalent electronics industry experience within distribution, component manufacturers, and/or EMS companies advantageous.
