Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide frontline technical support to end-users, resolving hardware, software, and network-related problems.
  • Install, update, and configure software applications on users' devices, ensuring they have the necessary tools to perform their tasks efficiently.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot hardware faults on devices such as computers, laptops, printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot network-related issues, including connectivity problems, internet outages, and LAN/WAN performance degradation.
  • Create, update, and manage user accounts on various systems and applications, including password resets and access permissions.
  • Implement and maintain IT security measures to protect systems and data from potential cyber security threats.
  • Ensure data integrity and implement backup/recovery procedures to prevent data loss.
  • Assist users with mobile device setup, configuration, and troubleshooting issues.
  • Provide assistance to remote or off-shore employees, analyzing and resolving issues via remote access tools or phone support.
  • Maintain an inventory of hardware and software assets, tracking asset status and managing hardware and software licenses.
  • Create and update documentation for common IT procedures, troubleshooting guides, and system configurations.
  • Conduct training sessions or create resources to educate users on IT best practices, software usage, and security awareness.
  • Liaise with third-party vendors on hardware, software, and services-related queries/requirements.
  • Ensure IT practices and procedures comply with relevant regulations and internal policies.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Diploma in Information Technology.
  • Preferably with 2 years' relevant work experience.
  • Effectively bilingual.
