APAC Finance Leadership Opportunity

This role is pivotal in driving financial excellence across the APAC region. The successful candidate will oversee a wide range of accounting activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with international standards.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead controllership functions within the APAC region, fostering a culture of precision, adherence to US GAAP, and local/international standards (e.g., IFRS).
  2. Oversee preparation and review of financial statements, audits, and statutory reporting across multiple jurisdictions.
  3. Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders to provide insights, strategic guidance, and support for informed decision-making.
  4. Enhance internal controls, promoting operational efficiency and risk management.
  5. Drive process streamlining and system optimization to boost regional financial operations.
  6. Serve as key point of contact for external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.
  7. Independently manage day-to-day operations, demonstrating hands-on approach and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience, showcasing a track record in MNCs.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP as well as regional accounting standards, regulations, and tax frameworks.
  • Demonstrated expertise in logistics, supply chain, or related industries.
  • Exceptional ability to work independently and maintain high attention to detail.
  • Outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills, with a knack for building trust and collaboration.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and tools (e.g., ERP software, Excel).
