The Project Management Office is a centralized function that oversees all projects within an organization to ensure they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. As the PMO Director, you will be responsible for setting project management standards, managing resources, tracking project performance, and ensuring alignment with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain project management processes, standards, and documentation.
  • Lead and mentor project managers; ensure delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.

To succeed in this role, you will need

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • PMP or equivalent certification is a must.
  • 5–10 years of experience in project/program management.
  • Experience in infrastructure, construction, or tech projects.
  • Proficient in budgeting, scheduling, and resource planning tools.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.

As a PMO Director, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects, including infrastructure, security systems, and enterprise integrations. As a successful PMO Director, you will have a strong understanding of project management principles, practices, and methodologies. You will be able to develop and maintain project management processes, standards, and documentation, and lead and mentor project managers to ensure delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.

You will also be able to allocate and manage resources across multiple projects, monitor project progress, risks, and issues, and implement mitigation strategies. Additionally, you will be able to maintain project schedules, reports, dashboards, and risk logs, and ensure that projects align with strategic business objectives.

In terms of qualifications, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business, or related field, PMP or equivalent certification, and 5–10 years of experience in project/program management. You will also need experience in infrastructure, construction, or tech projects, and be proficient in budgeting, scheduling, and resource planning tools.
