Dialect Ministry Leader

Seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pastor to lead our Dialect Ministry team. As a servant-leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the spiritual development of our members, casting vision, and shepherding the congregation.
The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in church ministry, preferably with experience working with Hokkien-speaking congregations.
- Pastoral work in Dialect Ministry including Lutheran Service of the Word and Sacrament and pastoral ministry for dialect-speaking members
- Preaching 1-2 times per month, organising fellowship and outdoor events for members, funerals and wakes, house cleansing and dedication, training the Ministry Leadership Team, visitation and counselling
Requirements:
a) Education, Certification, Skills and knowledge: Diploma/Degree in theology or Biblical studies
b) Experience: A few years of church ministry experience, preferable with Hokkien speaking congregation
c) Competencies: Conversant in spoken and written Hokkien, ability to empathise with people's life experiences, good sense of identification, commitment, tact, diplomacy and discretion
