About the RoleThe Director, HR Transformation is a strategic role focused on implementing an effective HR operating model that aligns with our business goals. This role supports the HR function in setting up a brilliant operating model based on world-class systems and processes, and operating excellence practices. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with a proven track record in transforming HR functions to drive efficiency, effectiveness, and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with the Head of HR Operations, Tech, and Insights to implement a best-in-class operating model for the HR function, aligned with design principles and key milestones.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to refine the HR operating model framework and design.
- Develop and implement processes, policies, and procedures that enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and employee experience.
- Ensure alignment with organizational strategy and culture.
- Work with subject matter experts and stakeholders to deliver HR transformation priorities and work towards the realization of the HR vision and program objectives.
- Champion continuous improvement and change management efforts within HR, fostering a culture of innovation and agility.
- Support Change Management and people transition efforts, including communications, stakeholder management, training, and effective communication of HR Op Model changes to employees.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for the HR operating model and regularly track and report on KPIs to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
- Project manage selected strategic initiatives that enable the HR Operating Model, such as talent acquisition, budget and workforce planning, HR security model, Shared Services Setup, and HR platforms integration.
- Provide HR consultative guidance and advice to the management team on topics including digital tools, people insights dashboards, HR service delivery, and operational excellence.
- Support the COEs and Head of HR Operations, Tech, and Insights in writing business cases, RFPs, and tracking value realization.
- Facilitate alignment between the HR Centre of Excellence and the HR Operations, Tech, and Insights team to achieve desired HR Operating Model outcomes.
- Engage with key stakeholders, including HR business partners, executives, and employees, to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure successful project outcomes.
- Manage vendor performance and relations with the consulting partner and program scope during the project phase of transformation and ensure smooth transition into BAU operating model.
- 10+ years of experience in HR Transformation and Change Management, having implemented a new target operating model for one or more organizations.
- Previous HR Transformation experience, including HR activity analysis, detailed HR organization design, capability reviews, change management, and workforce transition planning.
- Innovative thinking, ability to lead innovative and/or transformative projects, and strive for continuous improvements.
- Analytical thinking, exceptional ability to analyze data and utilize it to make sound business decisions.
- Stakeholder-oriented, demonstrating strong focus on stakeholder satisfaction while maintaining high ethics and professional integrity in all interactions.
- Communication skills, demonstrating strong communication and collaboration skills necessary to lead and manage teams and projects effectively.
- Relationship building skills, ability to work within a dynamic team setting and provide leadership to build and develop strong teams.
- Solid understanding of business planning processes and key business metrics to be achieved.
- Flexible and capable of managing end-to-end HR transformation workstreams in a complex global/territory capacity.
- Ability to work with different levels of stakeholders to develop relationships, establish credibility, and instill confidence.
- Prior experience and/or familiarity with agile strategies and some of the relevant HC technologies would be beneficial.
