Disease Emergency Response Specialist

The National University of Singapore invites applications for a key position in the Centre for Infectious Disease Emergency Response, NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine.
The Centre for Infectious Disease Emergency Response (CIDER) was established to strengthen capabilities to prevent, detect, and respond effectively to infectious disease emergencies. The Centre comprises multiple interdependent tracks supporting regional and global partners.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the Centre Director and track leads in overseeing day-to-day operations and long-term planning across the Centre's programmes and workstreams.
- Ensure effective delivery of administrative services including HR, procurement, and space/facilities coordination.
- Develop and implement a financial plan to support the Centre's operations and growth.
- Manage funding partners, donors, and foster long-term partnerships.
- Identify opportunities for revenue generation and cost recovery to ensure effective use of resources.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with academic faculty, administrative staff, institutional partners, and external collaborators.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from a reputable institution.
- At least 10 years of relevant managerial experience overseeing interdependent units or operations.
- Experience in financial management and fundraising is preferred.

- Ability to work with diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Flexibility to undertake various tasks necessary for efficient operation.
- Strong leadership, communication, and written skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team with empathy.
