Infectious Disease Emergency Management Professional

Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Manager in the Centre for Infectious Disease Emergency Response. The successful candidate will oversee all administrative and operational functions of the Centre, ensuring effective delivery of services and programs.

The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of relevant managerial experience, with expertise in financial management and fundraising. They will be able to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating strong leadership, communication, and written skills.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the Centre Director and track leads in overseeing day-to-day operations and long-term planning.
  • Ensuring effective delivery of administrative services, including HR, procurement, and space/facilities coordination.
  • Developing and implementing a financial sustainability plan to support the Centre's operations and growth.
  • Managing funding partners, donors, and fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Identifying opportunities for revenue generation and cost recovery to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Representing the Centre in meetings and discussions with key stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from a reputable institution.
  • At least 10 years of relevant managerial experience.
  • Experience in financial management and fundraising is preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and written skills.
  • Able to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
