Language Localization Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Language Localization Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our localization team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our software is tailored to meet the needs of users worldwide.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about languages and technology. You will have the chance to work on a wide range of projects, from translating complex software applications to adapting content for different regions and cultures.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Translation and adaptation of software applications, user interfaces, and other digital content;
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and accuracy in localized content;
- Development and maintenance of language-specific style guides and glossaries;
- Testing and quality assurance of localized software;
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Bachelor's degree in Applied Linguistics, Translation, Culture & Literature, or equivalent field;
- Native or accredited fluency in Vietnamese to support the Vietnamese-speaking market;
- Fluent in English to facilitate translation and communication;
- Experience with computer-assisted translation (CAT) tools and localization of UI for high-end software products;
- Excellent writing and communication skills, as well as partnership and interpersonal skills;
- Large vocabulary, literacy, and cross-cultural knowledge;
- Current and direct exposure to Vietnamese culture over a sustained period of time;
- Familiarity with multilingual and multicultural issues.
- Experience in managing language-specific style guides and glossaries;
- Knowledge of structural aspects of the language, including syntax, semantics, phonology, and phonetics;
- Experience with natural language processing and computational linguistics;
- Programming skills;
- Localization project management experience;
- Quality assurance experience.
